Karin Ajmani, President of Healthcare Services at Progyny, the leading fertility benefits for employers, is named one of New York Business Journal’s Women of Influence for 2017. The list includes 30 women in the New York City area that have made an impact in their business or communities such as nonprofit or charitable organizations, and in the lives of young executives through mentorship.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by the New York Business Journal and to be listed among such accomplished women in the New York area,” said Ajmani.
At Progyny, Ajmani spearheads the company’s core service, its fertility benefits plan. The plan is designed to provide coverage that increases family building and infertility services. Within a year, she has steered her team to expand its customers by 185 percent and tripled the number of covered lives. Outside of Progyny, Ajmani is a board member for Autism Learning Partners and Citra Health Solutions. She’s also an active member and mentor to members of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
